The purpose of the Send Group Newsletter dialog is to allow an administrator to customize the monthly health and wellness newsletter for their group(s).

NOTE: Do to the issue of spammers, this feature is currently only available to Tier 2 fee-based organizations.

NOTE: Only one newsletter can be sent to a member each month. If the admin has not sent a customized newsletter by the 25th of the month, the default newsletter will be sent.

Features

The Send Group Newsletter dialog allows the admin to change the content of the monthly newsletter and customize it for their group or groups. The wellness4one newsletter logo will be replaced by the groups logo and content will be editable. By using the wizard, the admin can choose to keep a default article or easily replace it with their own including title, image and article content. An html editor is available to include rich text and outside links.

NOTE: Please ensure that you have permission to distribute external articles to your group members and that no copyrights are violated.

NOTE: If you wish to include your own images in the newsletter, they must be uploaded into photobucket.com and linked using the textbox provided. Free and fee-based accounts are available from their website.

How To

1. After logging into the system, click the Admin tab.
2. Select the group you wish to send a customized newsletter to and click the Newsletter button.
3. Click Next on the Introduction screen.
4. If you would like to use the default article, leave the Use Default Article checkbox checked; otherwise, clear the checkbox and you may change the title, image or article contents. To change the image, you must upload your desired image to photobucket.com and then copy the Direct Link URL into the image textbox provided.

5. Once you are finished with the article, click the Next button.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for articles #2 and #3.
7. Click the Preview Newsletter button to verify the newsletter's content and formatting.
8. Click Finish to send the newsletter to your group members and exit the wizard.
