wellness4one Personal: Nutrition and Calorie Logging
Wellness through state-of-the-art nutrition and calorie logging.
The United States and the western world are going through an obesity epidemic. In America,
over two-thirds of adults are overweight and one-third are obese. This condition leads to a variety
of health-care and wellness problems from diabetes to hypertension. Since calorie and nutrition logging is
an important tool in any weight loss or maintenance program, wellness4one has introduced
the Calorie Log and Express Calorie Log.
The Detailed Calorie Log allows the user to keep meticulous records of how many calories were consumed and when for a given food item. As an alternative, The Express Calorie Log
makes tracking calories and nutrition easy by simply entering servings of the food groups and is based on the USDA MyPlate initiative. wellness4one combines
a these logging system with your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and activity level to determine at any moment whether you are gaining or losing weight and by how much.
With wellness4one Mobile or our iPhone App, you can bring your workout logs to the gym with you and use them as a baseline as you log your new workout remotely.
Nutritionists and dietitians can use the calorie logs to review client progress or to enter the client's new meals. The Express log is also handy for wellness program administrators who would like to
create a health and wellness challenge but do not want to go through the hassle of requiring detailed calorie logging from employees.

Calorie Log |
All nutrition reporting centers around the calorie log. To make it quick and
easy to enter meals, the wellness4one Calorie Log allows you to copy prior meals,
add and remove food and quickly edit the portions consumed. It also allows
for quick calorie entry for snack that you don't eat often and don't need in your
My Menu list. |
|
Meal Planner |
Most diet plans specify the foods you should eat for each meal on a given day. The Meal
Planner allows you to quickly enter your diet or meal plan to simplify logging those food items in the
Calorie Log. This feature also allows the user to create multiple meal plans to easily switch between plans. |
|
New Foods |
We provide a wide variety of standard foods obtained from the USDA. However, we can't possibly have every food that our users consume. The solution is to provide an easy-to-use tool for entering
your own food items and sharing those items with the rest of the community.

Calorie Log Express |
wellness4one offers an alternative to the usual calorie log with Calorie Log Express.
While the Calorie Log
is an excellent tool for keeping a detailed account of all foods consumed in a day,
it can be a tedious process for some. Enter Calorie Log Express. With Calorie Log Express,
you no longer need to select specific foods and serving sizes or create a menu. Instead, you simply enter the
number of servings for each food group into the log and the system estimates the number
of calories consumed. It then compares that amount to your BMR and activity level to
determine if you are gaining or losing weight. |

wellness4one Mobile |
A computer terminal is certainly not the most efficient place to log meals; therefore,
we created wellness4one Mobile. With this tool, you can log meals while on
the go or at a restaurant. This website is WAP compatible and works with most mobile
devices that have Internet access. You can access the mobile website at: http://mobile.wellness4one.com
