wellness4one Personal: Health & Fitness Evaluations
Measuring progress through health and fitness testing.
Health and fitness evaluations provide a baseline for measuring your fitness progress. Once you start you fitness program, it is important that you establish baseline metrics from which to gauge progress.
By using the wellness4one system, you can easily step through the evaluation process for recording your biometrics (height, weight, blood pressure, measurements, etc.), aerobic capacity, muscular
strength and flexibility. All data saved using this system can be reviewed on the evaluation tab or compared using our detailed reports.
If you are a personal trainer using the system for your clients or you are administering a training group for your corporate wellness program, you may create and administer additional tests for whatever you
like (e.g. cholesterol level) or create a Health Risk Assessment that can be administered through the evaluation tab. Client and employee evaluations can either be viewed as an aggregate or through
individual reports. Trainers may also enter client tests and these can be separated from tests that members perform on their own.
Note: As with all personal health information contained within wellness4one, Evaluation data is stored in an encrypted format within our database.

Biometric Evaluation (Checkup) |
A biometric evaluation or checkup provides a means to record measurements, height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, BMI (Body Mass Index) and BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). BMI, BMR and Estimated Body Fat
are all calculated from other entries.
|
|
Aerobic (VO2 Max) Evaluation |
A VO2 Max evaluation is necessary for gauging cardiovascular ability. By determining maximal oxygen uptake, it is possible to estimate the number of calories burned during a given workout. Results of this
test are compared to the general population and your ranking is given.
|
|
Anaerobic Evaluation (Strength and Endurance) |
Anaerobic evaluations determine muscular strength and compare them to population norms. The strength test asks you to perform four ten-rep tests and then estimates your max lift. The endurance test uses
the push up and half sit up test. Videos are available to demonstrate how to perform these tests correctly.
|
|
Flexibility Evaluation |
The trunk flexion test is used to gauge overall flexibility. A video is available to demonstrate how to perform this test correctly.
|
|
Health Risk Assessment |
If you are a member of a wellness program and they have published a health risk assessment (HRA) on the wellness4one website, it will be available through the evaluation tab. Simply step through
the questionnaire and the answers will be aggregated in reports to the administrators.
