Purpose

The purpose of the Fitness Challenge Wizard is to step wellness administrators through the fitness challenge creation process. This function will allow admins to create a new fitness challenge.

Features

The Fitness Challenge Wizard page allows the administrator to create and name a new fitness challenge, establish the competition categories and set the start and end dates. Members can then be invited to the challenge using the Invitation Wizard.

How To

1. After logging into the system, click Create a New Challenge on the Home tab. If you are creating a group challenge, click the Create a New Challenge link from within the Fitness Challenge of the Admin Page.
2. Click the Next button on the Introduction step.
3. Enter the name of the challenge you are creating. The name will be used for reporting purposes and sent out in the email invitations for participants. Click the Next button when finished.
4. Determine how you would like participants to join the challenge. If you select the Allow challenge enrollment on the group page or by invitation option. Members will be able to join from the internal group page; otherwise, all participants must be invited by an admin. Click Next.
5. Determine how you would like member names to appear on the challenge report. If you select the Anonymous - show Member ID for each challenge participant option, only the user's Member ID will be shown. Click Next.
6. Check off the type(s) of competition that this challenge will encompass. The challenge may be for most weight lost, size (in inches) lost, total time spent working out, or any combination of the three. Click the Next button when finished.
7. Select the challenge Start and End dates. This can be any date range but should probably be at least one month but not more than six.
8. Click Finish to create the challenge and exit the wizard.
